Your dog is going to need your care and attention, and at some point, they're going to require medical attention as well. If your dog is exhibiting signs you find to be odd or unusual, it could mean that your dog needs medical attention and you should take them to the animal hospital for help. 1. Bleeding

If your dog is bleeding excessively and you aren't sure where the blood is coming from or you aren't able to control the bleeding, you should take your dog to the animal hospital to be treated. Don't wait to take your dog in for medical attention. Take them in immediately to the animal hospital. Your dog could be losing a lot of blood and need transfusions if they lose too much. They may also need other treatment that you aren't going to be able to provide at home. Get your dog the help they need.

2. Excessively Panting

If your dog is panting too much, it could be a sign of a few different things. They could be experiencing stomach discomfort, they could have a fever and they are trying to cool themself down with the panting, or it could be for other reasons. If they are panting a lot more than normal, you should take them to the veterinarian hospital for a checkup. Keep an eye out for other signs that may accompany the panting, such as vomiting or diarrhea. Make sure you discuss any other signs with your dog's veterinarian.

3. Not Eating Or Weight Loss

If your dog has stopped eating or has been experiencing a great deal of weight loss, it's something you should address. Your dog could be losing weight for a number of reasons, one of which would be because they aren't eating. If they aren't eating, there has to be a reason. They could have stomach issues, oral issues, or other concerning issues that need to be treated properly. 

If your dog is showing you any of the signs, they need to be treated by the animal hospital. Don't wait and see if the symptoms go away, have your dog treated right away. Prolonging medical attention may cause your dog's condition to worsen. Call the local animal hospital beforehand and discuss what is going on with your dog so they can be ready when you arrive with your dog.
